TRACING OUR ROOTS AS KIPINDOEK

When you talk about the history of Kipindoek, it will never be complete without talking of Chesamich.
Questions that come to our minds are:

1. who is Chesamich?
2. why the name Chesamich?
3. How is Kipindoek related to Chesamich?
4. How did she abandoned her two children(Son & daughter) and why?
5. who took care of the children and from which clan?
6. who adopted the children?
7. which clan was the daughter married to?
8. when did we start friendship with the dogs?

In my quest to look for answers to the following questions, I visited an old man who is approximately 100 years of age.
Out of my conversation with him, I now have the answers to the questions and have written an article on the same.
As a way of appreciating the person who gave the information I have a feeling that we can extend a helping hand by paying something small let us say 300/=.
